The Ribble CGR AL e is just as happy on a rough trail as a tarmac road, and its smooth motor assistance and super speedy acceleration make riding a joy. It's just a shame the app can't keep up.

The Specialized Turbo Vado 4.0 (2022) is an e-bike for all seasons and just about any kind of cycling scenario. While it’s not the most svelte electric two-wheeler on the market, it is beautifully designed, really well put together, and rides like a dream.

These aren't mountain bikes built for serious hills and mud, but are more robust than a typical road bike, with more stable geometry and increased tire clearance that makes them suitable for both roads and tougher terrain.
