Packing a sizable battery that can keep you going for at least 50 miles, the ideal frame should be strong enough to bear your weight, but light enough to haul up and down a flight of stairs; This is easily achievable. Add in mandatory safety specs like UL Certification, IP Waterproofing, street-legal speed limits, and compliant motor outputs, and the list of solid options gets sparse very quickly.

We dug through the current market to compile a list of the lightest UL-Certified, street-legal electric scooters in the US that can travel 50 miles or more on a full charge.
