What You Need to Know Today
Can-Am announces the dual-sport Origin and the city-commuter Pulse 9 e-motorcycles. Both bikes are designed for city riding as they have the Rotex E-Power drivetrain and a smaller bike that sacrifices range but charges much faster with an 80% charge in less than an hour. Both bikes are available for pre-order through select Can-Am dealerships.
Segway’s new Ninebot eKickScooter C2 Lite e-kickscooter gives kids a boost with every push. The motor adds a little power each time the rider pushes it forward and it has an adjustable parent-controlled top speed to let kids safely move to higher speeds when they’re ready.
Ola Electric had a big launch, announcing the Roadster, Roadster X, and Roadster Pro electric motorcycles, all based on its Gen 3 platform. Ola also officially announced it would integrate its battery cells into its vehicles starting Q1 FY2026 and teased 2 more upcoming models: the Sportster and the Arrowhead.

NAVEE announced its new S40 electric scooter. Modeled after the Tesla Cybertruck, the S40 won the 2024 Red Dot and the iF Design Awards. It will be available through Amazon and Best Buy for $699.
British brand Pure Electric e-scooters is expanding into Germany.
The Beachman Aviator redefines what an electric urban commuter can be. Styled with classic mid-century design, the Aviator cafe-racer is offered in a Class 2 e-bike config or an e-moto with a top speed of 50mph.

Innovation in the electric 2-wheeler market is lagging, as new entrants fail to deliver the performance and range needed to entice riders away from ICE motorcycles. With startup investors prioritizing scale over innovation and incumbents still profiting from ICEs, R&D efforts in e-motorcycles remain limited.
JackRabbit gave the OG micro-bike a tune-up. The 2nd generation JackRabbit OG2 improves on the cult classic ride with UL-certified swappable batteries, a reinforced frame that supports up to 275 lbs, and a new handlebar that can be rotated 90 degrees for flat storage. The JackRabbit OG2 is in stock and shipping now for $1,249.
A rarity among electric bikes, the Mod Easy includes an optional sidecar that can be attached or detached in just a few minutes and can haul up to 150 pounds of cargo or passengers. Manufactured by Mod Bikes from Austin, TX, the Mod Easy is a comfortable and stylish cruiser inspired by 1940s-era Harley Davidson motorcycles. It has one of the most customizable display setups we've seen yet.
Meanwhile the Mod Black 3 is a powerful full-suspension electric adventure bike, fully equipped to handle any terrain. It has a 750-watt rear hub motor and is capable of speeds of 28mph using pedal assist, or 20mph via the thumb throttle. In addition to being off-road adventure-ready, the Mod Black 3 is also rocking a sturdy rear rack compatible with Snap-On accessories, as well as integrated lights and the ability to pair with a Lumos smart helmet for maximum visibility.
