Sleek, Light, & Stealth

Integrated battery construction houses the power cell either permanently or semi-permanently within the frame’s tubing. To charge these vehicles, you usually plug a charging cable directly into the bike’s chassis.
The biggest bonus with such bikes is the stealth they offer. Integrated batteries draw significantly less attention and often blend in as a normal bicycle. They usually weigh much less than external battery setups and marginally more than pedal bikes.
However, their largest drawback is that you have to haul the entire bike up and down stairs, making it immediately unsuitable for apartment dwellers. On top of that, replacing the battery can quickly become expensive because you usually have to replace the entire frame, which triples in cost if it's a discontinued model.

The battery can also get you up to 60 miles on a full charge.

Velotric T1 ST Plus

This lightweight $1299 offering from Velotric features a 350W mid-drive motor and a 352 Wh battery that is fully integrated into the bike’s frame. It is neither lockable nor removable and can provide up to 70 miles of range. It doesn't have a throttle-only mode, but it does have torque sensors. The bike weighs 39 lbs and has front headlights and rear lights for visibility.
Specialized Turbo Vado SL 2 4.0

Priced at $4599, but discounted to $2899, this offering from Specialized features a 250W nominal motor and a 520 Wh battery. This bike has a charging port on the side of the motor and can take you an estimated 50 to 65 miles per full charge.
