AIMExpo 2024 is in full swing! This is the 10th anniversary of the largest powersports trade show in North America, with exhibits featuring the latest and greatest dirtbikes, ATVs, side-by-sides, e-bikes, scooters, riding gear, and so much more. Team Micro is here covering the event, interviewing exhibitors, test riding products, and competing in the Super73 Throwdown race!

The V5 is Meepo’s “entry level” electric longboard, a great fit for new riders who want to try out an e-skate board without breaking the bank. Dual 500 watt motors provide satisfying power and require no maintenance, and the standard battery pack provides up to 11 miles of riding range, making this a good fit for students and commuters who want a portable (and fun) last mile solution. The carry handle is a nice convenience touch, and the electronics are very cleanly integrated, giving the V5 a stealthy appearance and helping it to pass for a regular longboard.

Our final day at the Consumer Electronics Show was all about Segway! Tyson left the show floor and trekked to Segway’s test track location, where they had assembled a variety of scooters, electric bikes, and even a go-kart for test rides. We were especially excited to see their new prototypes: The Xyber, an electric motorcycle masquerading as an electric bike, and the Xafari, a comfortable and sporty adventure e-bike.
