The SOLO from ElectraMeccanica is a three-wheeled, single-passenger, all-electric vehicle that was meant to minimize its footprint. It was designed for easier commuting and deliveries, but with a 100-mile range and an 80 mph top speed, it can hold its own on the highway as well. 
The SOLO features two wheels in the front and then narrows into a backside that sits atop a single wheel. It could technically be considered a motorcycle given that it only has three wheels, but with an enclosed cabin, a round steering wheel, and foot pedals, it feels a lot more like an automobile, albeit a super compact one.

The ElectraMeccanica SOLO is sure to turn heads when you drive it around town. This electric vehicle certainly looks nothing like anything the average commuter has seen before, and that's the point. 
To minimize its footprint and make daily commutes easier, the SOLO _is _different, and that's its main appeal.
With impressive range, quick charging, and simple maneuverability, the only question left is whether you're okay with traveling solo everywhere you go - considering there isn't room for much else inside the SOLO other than its driver.

That was easily my biggest takeaway from my time with the EV – everyone wants to take a picture of it or ask you about it, because it’s unlike anything they’ve ever seen.
