Has LaPierre succeeded in creating a totally new hybrid version of an e-mountain bike? We can't definitively say that they've invented a brand new bike category, but we can say that they have continued their tradition of high quality and performance.
While it's disappointing to see limited size customization options, and the tires still suffer from puncture vulnerability, the drive unit is a huge upgrade and ensures a smooth and fun ride. The price is considerable but if you're already an e-mountain biking enthusiast, this might be the bike for you.
