The KBO Hurricane is a beautiful bike designed to help bikers in their journey, not overcome them by giving them an overly powerful drivetrain. With a removable 36V, 378 Wh battery and 500W motor, it’s the best combination of an electric bike and a regular bike.
In today's KBO hurricane review, we will talk about the benefits and shortcomings of this electric road bike. If you want to learn more, stick around for the rest of the review!
Thank you for reading this KBO Hurricane review. Remember that while this is an e-bike, it is not the most powerful e-bike out there.
It’s designed to help you with the pedal assist but not overpower you, so that you can have both a workout and a refreshing experience simultaneously. Considering the price is quite affordable, we recommend taking a closer look at this bike if you’re looking for a sleek road e-bike.
The KBO Hurricane showed me that bigger isn’t always better and that the wattage-to-weight ratio is more important than wattage overall. Yes, the Hurricane struggled on the steep hills, but everywhere else, it held its composure and offered me a smooth, natural feeling experience.
When I got the KBO Hurricane, I was immediately impressed by how lightweight it actually was. I had no problems picking up the electric bike and moving it around. It’s not only lightweight, it’s also much smaller than the RadRover 5 or KBO Breeze.
You can barely tell that this is an ebike. The frame is so sleek, yet the bike is sturdy. The single-speed belt drive gives a smooth, quiet ride.
