Seated Electric Scooters To Ride In Comfort

Electric scooters are all the rage in 2026. They are easy to ride, relatively modular, and great to store. That said, electric scooters inherently require you to balance on them. What if you’re mobility-challenged? Or need to sit down as you ride?

Seated Electric Scooters To Ride In Comfort
In This Guide

So we went out and found seated electric scooters that feature a seat. That way, you can sit comfortably and ride around town. Electric scooters with a seat on them are great, even for those who don’t need the extra support and balance. They're bulkier and can therefore run longer. They also feature suspension, which makes for a comfortable ride. With that said, here are our options.

The GoTrax A3 Aero

The $300 GoTrax A3 Aero features a 350W motor that is paired with a 187Wh battery. This combo gets you to a top speed of 15mph and can travel nearly 10 miles. This mileage is admittedly not great. But we imagine this scooter is designed for casual neighborhood rides rather than long-distance treks. It is a throttle-only scooter and weighs 56 lbs. It can support a 220 lb load. It also features rear suspension for maximum comfort. The whole set-up also folds, making it easy to store.

GoTrax Flex Ultra

The $550 GoTrax Flex Ultra. They come fitted with a 500W motor and a 480Wh battery. It reaches a top speed of 20 mph and travels up to 25 miles on a full charge. It weighs 61 lbs and can support 264 lbs. It also has a storage basket that can support a 50lb load. The scooter’s rear suspension provides excellent shock absorption on and off-road. However, it isn’t really meant for off-road riding.

HiBoy Q2

The $423 HiBoy Q2 features a 500W peak motor that pairs with a 324Wh battery. It weighs 62 lbs and can support a 220 lb load. It reaches a maximum speed of 20 mph and runs for 22 miles on a full charge. It also features integrated front and rear lights and an IPX4 waterproofed tech ecosystem. It features both electronic and drum braking that stop you as efficiently as possible. Plus, dual suspension helps keep you as smooth as possible.

HiBoy U3

The $460 HiBoy U3 features a 400W motor that pairs with a 375Wh battery. It weighs 61 lbs and can support a 220 lb load. All the electronics on the system are IPX4 waterproofed. Like the Q2, it also has electronic and drum brakes to keep you safe when stopping. The scooter features integrated front and rear lights, reaches a top speed of 20 mph, and travels 25 miles on a full charge.

GoTrax A7

The $700 GoTrax A7 seated scooter features a 500W motor with a half-twist throttle. It also runs on a 480Wh battery that delivers 28 miles per full charge. The scooter can reach a top speed of 20 mph. The steel frame features a 2-speed drivetrain and dual suspension. It weighs 73 lbs and can handle a 264 lb load. It also features retractable footrests, a digital display, a storage compartment under the seat, and an additional rear rack.

HiBoy U2 Pro

The $1059 HiBoy U2 Pro is our flagship pick in this e-scooter category. It's the largest and features a powerful 750W motor paired with a 624Wh battery. This combo lets you ride at a top speed of 25 mph and get up to 34 miles of range per charge. It also features dual disc brakes, integrated front & rear lights, IPX4-rated electronics, and fat all-terrain tires. The scooter uses rear suspension for maximum comfort, weighs 81 lbs, and can handle a 265 lb load.
