2008 ezgo golf cart electric brakes how it works?

The 2008 EZGO golf cart is equipped with electric brakes, which differ from traditional hydraulic brakes found in automobiles. Electric brakes work by using an electrical current to activate an electromagnetic coil, which then generates a magnetic field. This magnetic field attracts the brake shoes or pads, causing them to press against the brake drum or rotor, thus creating friction and bringing the golf cart to a stop. The electric brake system is controlled by a brake controller, which regulates the amount of current sent to the electromagnetic coil based on the driver's input. This allows for precise braking control and reduces the need for manual adjustments or maintenance. Additionally, electric brakes offer benefits such as quicker response times, increased braking efficiency, and reduced wear and tear on the braking components.
