Electric skateboard clutch how does it work?
An electric Skateboard clutch is a mechanism that allows the Skateboard's motor to disengage from the wheels. This feature is commonly found in electric skateboards with hub motors. When the clutch is engaged, the motor is connected to the wheels and provides power for acceleration. However, when the clutch is disengaged, the motor is disconnected from the wheels, allowing the rider to manually push or coast without resistance from the motor. The clutch can be operated using a handheld remote or a control on the Skateboard itself. This feature provides riders with more control over their ride and allows for a more traditional skateboarding experience when desired.
