How does an electric golf cart cart work ?

An Electric Golf Cart works similarly to an electric bike or eBike. It is equipped with a battery and motor that provide power for propulsion. The battery is typically lead-acid or lithium-ion and is charged by plugging the cart into an electrical outlet. The motor is connected to the wheels and provides the necessary power to move the cart forward or backward.

In terms of controls, most electric golf carts have a throttle or accelerator pedal that allows the driver to control the speed. Some carts may also have a braking system that is activated when the pedal is released or through a separate brake pedal. Additionally, many modern golf carts also have features such as headlights, turn signals, and horn for added safety and convenience.

Overall, electric golf carts offer a quieter and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional gas-powered carts. They are popular in golf courses and other recreational areas for their ease of use and low maintenance requirements.
