How fast can an electric bike go?

The speed of an electric bike, or eBike, can vary depending on the model and LOCAL regulations. Many countries have specific rules regarding the maximum speed of an eBike, with most allowing speeds up to 25 km/h (15.5 mph) for pedal-assist bikes and up to 32 km/h (20 mph) for throttle-based bikes. However, some high-end models can reach speeds up to 45 km/h (28 mph) or even higher. It is important to note that riders should always follow LOCAL regulations and wear appropriate safety gear while riding an eBike.
