How fast can you go on an electric bike?
The top speed of an electric bike, or eBike, varies depending on the model and LOCAL laws, but they can generally reach speeds of 20-28 mph (32-45 km/h) with throttle-based acceleration or assistance through pedal-power. However, some ebikes can reach even higher speeds, such as those designed for off-road use, but these may not be legal on public roads. It's important to check your LOCAL regulations and manufacturer specifications to understand the speed capabilities of a specific eBike model.
