How fast is electric bike?
The speed of an electric bike, or eBike, can vary depending on the type and model of the bike. However, most ebikes are designed to reach speeds of up to 20-28 mph (32-45 km/h) with pedal assist, which is regulated by LOCAL laws and policies. That being said, some higher-end models or conversion kits can allow for speeds up to 45 mph (72 km/h), but these are typically not legal for public use on roads and bike lanes. It's important to take into consideration that the speed and performance of an eBike can be impacted by factors like motor power, battery capacity, terrain, weather conditions, and rider weight.
