How heavy is an electric bike?

The weight of an electric bike can vary depending on its design, materials, and components. Generally, electric bikes tend to be heavier than traditional bicycles due to the added weight of the battery, motor, and other components. On average, an electric bike can weigh anywhere from 35 to 70 pounds. However, some models can be lighter or heavier depending on their intended use and other factors. For example, a lightweight Dualtron-City+">City+ commuter eBike may weigh around 40 pounds, while a heavy-duty cargo eBike can weigh over 100 pounds.
