How long do ebike batteries last?

The lifespan of an eBike battery depends on various factors such as battery chemistry, usage, charging habits, and storage conditions. Generally, most high-quality eBike batteries can last for 2-4 years, or around 500 to 1000 charge cycles, before their performance starts to decline. However, proper maintenance and care, such as avoiding overcharging, extreme temperatures, and deep discharges, can help extend the battery lifespan. Additionally, some ebikes offer removable batteries, which allow for convenient replacement or backups to ensure that you can always ride with power.
