How long electric bike battery last?
The lifespan of an electric bike battery will vary depending on a few factors. These include the type of battery used (e.g. lithium-ion or lead-acid), the capacity of the battery, and how often it is used and charged. In general, lithium-ion batteries commonly found in modern ebikes can last between 500 and 1,000 charge cycles before they start to degrade. However, proper care and maintenance can extend the lifespan of the battery. This includes storing the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use, charging it regularly, and avoiding excessive heat or cold that could damage the cells. It's also important to note that the range of an electric bike will decrease as the battery ages and loses its capacity.
