How many electric vehicles in the world?

The number of electric vehicles (EVS) in the world is constantly changing and increasing as more people switch to environmentally friendly transportation options. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the global electric car stock surpassed 10 million vehicles in 2020. This number includes both all-electric cars and plug-in hybrid vehicles. It is important to note that this number does not include other types of electric vehicles like electric bikes, scooters, and motorcycles. With the growing demand for EVS and the advancements in technology and infrastructure, it is expected that the number of electric vehicles in the world will continue to rise in the coming years.
