How much faster is an electric bike?

An electric bike can provide the rider with varying levels of additional power that can make it possible to travel at speeds of up to 28 miles per hour. However, this speed can vary depending on the motor and battery specifications of the individual eBike, as well as the terrain, weather, and the weight and fitness level of the rider. Some ebikes may also have specific speed limits set by LOCAL laws and regulations. Ultimately, the speed advantage of an electric bike over a traditional bicycle depends on a variety of factors.
