How to change selenoid on electric golf cart?

To change the solenoid on an Electric Golf Cart, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the golf cart is turned off and remove the key from the ignition.

2. Locate the solenoid, which is typically in the engine compartment. It is a small box-shaped component with wires connected to it.

3. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent any electrical shocks.

4. Using a wrench or socket, remove the nuts or bolts that secure the solenoid to the golf cart.

5. Carefully disconnect the wires from the solenoid. Take note of their positions or take a picture for reference.

6. Install the new solenoid by connecting the wires in the same positions as the old solenoid.

7. Secure the solenoid to the golf cart using the nuts or bolts removed in step 4.

8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

9. Double-check all connections and ensure everything is properly secured.

10. Turn on the golf cart and test the new solenoid to ensure it is functioning correctly.

Remember, if you are unsure about the process or do not have the necessary tools, it is recommended to consult a professional or refer to the golf cart's manual for specific instructions.
