What is an electric bike?
An electric bike, or eBike, is a bicycle equipped with a battery and motor that provides additional power to the rider through pedal-assist or throttle-based acceleration. This means that the rider can pedal like a regular bike, but with added assistance from the motor. Ebikes may vary in performance, handling, and cost depending on factors such as motor power, battery capacity, frame materials, suspension, wheel size, brakes, drivetrain, and pedal assist levels. There are also various designs for different uses, such as Dualtron-City+">City+ commuting, cargo hauling, beach cruising, and mountain biking.
