What is an electric hybrid bike?
An electric hybrid bike combines elements of a traditional bike with those of an electric bike. These bikes typically have a lightweight frame similar to a traditional bike, but are equipped with both a battery and motor to provide additional power through pedal-assist or throttle-based acceleration. The electric assist can be turned on or off, allowing the rider to choose when to utilize the power assist. Electric hybrid bikes are great for riders who want the benefits of an electric bike but still want the option to pedal for exercise or when going uphill. Similar to traditional bikes and electric bikes, electric hybrid bikes vary in their features and performance based on factors such as motor power, battery capacity, and other technical specifications.
