What is pedal assist ebike?
A pedal-assist eBike, also known as a pedelec, is a type of electric bike that provides assistance to the rider through a motor that only engages when the rider is pedaling. The motor provides additional power to make pedaling easier, but it does not replace the need to pedal entirely. Pedal-assist ebikes often have multiple levels of assistance, allowing the rider to choose the amount of assistance they want based on their riding conditions and preferences. These types of ebikes are popular among commuters and recreational riders who want to cover more ground with less effort.
