What is the difference from electric bike iand electric moped?

An electric bike, or eBike, is a bicycle that is equipped with a battery and motor that provides the rider with additional power through pedal-assist or throttle-based acceleration. It is designed to be primarily propelled by human power, with the motor providing supplemental power to assist the rider.

On the other hand, an electric Moped is more similar to a Motorcycle or Scooter. It features a larger motor and battery, allowing it to be primarily powered by the motor with minimal or no human input. Electric mopeds typically have a higher top speed and longer range compared to electric bikes.

While both electric bikes and electric mopeds are battery-powered and offer some level of motor assistance, the key difference lies in the level of human input required for propulsion. Electric bikes rely on the rider's pedaling motion, while electric mopeds are designed to be mainly motor-powered. This distinction makes electric bikes more suitable for recreational and exercise purposes, while electric mopeds provide a more convenient and efficient mode of transportation for longer distances or steeper terrain.
