What kind of motor is used in electric skateboard?

An electric Skateboard typically uses a brushless DC motor. This type of motor is efficient, compact, and offers a high power-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for electric skateboards. The motor is usually mounted on the underside of the Skateboard deck and is connected to the wheels through a belt or direct drive system. The motor is responsible for propelling the Skateboard forward and providing the rider with acceleration and speed. Different electric skateboards may have motors with varying power outputs, which can impact their performance and top speed.
