Which motor is used in electric bike?

Electric bikes use different types of motors depending on the model and brand. However, most commonly used are brushed and brushless motors. Brushed motors are the older design and are less efficient than brushless motors. They also have a shorter lifespan and need more maintenance. Brushless motors, on the other hand, are more energy-efficient and have a longer life SPAN. They also require less maintenance. Some electric bikes also use hub motors which are located in the wheel hubs, while others use mid-drive motors which are located near the pedals. The type of motor used in an electric bike can impact its performance, speed, and overall cost.
