Who built pedestrian bridge at florida international university?
The pedestrian bridge at Florida International University (FIU) was built by the construction firm Munilla Construction Management (MCM), in partnership with FIGG Bridge Engineers. The bridge was constructed to provide a safe passage for students and faculty across SW 8th Street, a busy road that runs through the university campus. Unfortunately, the bridge collapsed in March 2018, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries. The incident prompted an investigation into the design and construction of the bridge, and highlighted the importance of proper engineering and safety protocols in infrastructure projects.
