The Giant Trance X E+ is an electric trail bike that brings Giant's penchant for innovative designs to the forefront. The SyncDrive Pro motor offers reliable performance and smooth pedal assistance even when riding over rough terrain. The bike has a flip-chip feature to allow you to adjust the seat tube angles and bottom bracket heights.
Some riders feel the flip chip setting will almost always be in the low position as the settings will match the bike's intended usage over rough terrain, however, it's always nice to have the option to adjust the mounts, especially given the ultra-premium price point.
While the E+ does offer a powerful riding experience, many riders will notice that their battery range changes drastically depending on the terrain they're riding over. 


The electric version of the Trance X, the Trance X E+ is a powerhouse of a bike that makes short work of steep off-road trails.

Giant Trance X E+

The Trance X E+ series is powerful, well-built, and a lot of fun to ride. If you can get around the higher price point and the overall weight of the bike, it's a great ride.
The output from the bike battery pushes the powerful motor right over steep climbs, and the progressive frame geometry helps to provide a comfortable feel for any style of riding. 
The battery levels can be a little inconsistent, and while the electric power output is solid, if you ride over extreme hills or in difficult weather conditions, you might not get enough of a charge to fully enjoy the experience.
