Electric Bike Rebates and Tax Credits

The Municipality of Braine-l'Alleud grants a subsidy for the purchase of a classic bike, an electric-assisted bike, an adaptable kit, an electric scooter, or a gyro wheel. The amount of the grant is set at 10% of the purchase price with a ceiling of €100.00 per household and per calendar year. The grant request must be made within the calendar year, for an invoicing date between January 1 and December 31, and the request may only concern one of the categories. Supporting documents include a certificate of household composition and a copy of the invoice issued by the sector professional indicating the exact type of equipment requested for the grant, as well as proof of payment of the invoice.
