Electric Bike Rebates and Tax Credits

The Municipality of Chaudfontaine provides a 10% incentive of the purchase price for an electric bike (capped at €150) for those who decide to make the purchase to encourage its citizens to travel by bike. The regulation was adopted to promote and strengthen active mobility, particularly through the use of electric bikes as an alternative mode of transportation to cars, for getting around the municipality and beyond. Application forms can be obtained from the Mobility Department at the Municipal Administration, Avenue du Centenaire 14 in Embourg or from the Town Planning, Urbanism, Mobility, and Housing Department at the Municipal Hall in Embourg.
