Electric Bike Rebates and Tax Credits

The article describes a municipal regulation providing grants for the purchase of a new electric assisted bicycle. The grant corresponds to 10% of the invoice amount, with a limit of €125 per VAE. Two grants can be awarded per household. To benefit from the grant, the applicant must be registered in the population, foreigners', or waiting lists of the City of Chièvres for at least six months from the date of the application's submission and submit their application no later than six months after the purchase. The grant will only be awarded upon production of the original invoice specifying the exact type of VAE, attached to the application.
