The Corsican Assembly has approved assistance for the purchase of electric-assisted bicycles (VAE) for individuals, communities, and businesses with the aim of making the use of bicycles as a mode of transportation more accessible. This assistance program aims to raise awareness among Corsican citizens about the use of bicycles and encourage investment in necessary infrastructure. While electric-assisted bicycles are a more expensive option, they can contribute to moderate physical activity and make longer distances easier to manage.
