The Municipality of Rueil-Malmaison provides a subsidy to its inhabitants for acquiring Electric Assistance Bicycles (VAE). The municipal budget for 2022 allocated to requests for subsidies for the purchase of electric bikes has been exhausted. However, before the end of the year, equivalent financial assistance offered by Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) can still be obtained. This assistance is equivalent to a maximum of 50% of the TTC purchase price of the bike, up to a limit of a €500 subsidy. After the city's budget has been voted on in January 2023, Rueillois can submit their subsidy request to the city again.
