Electric Bike Rebates and Tax Credits

The Municipality of Bellevue provides a subsidy of CHF 300 for the purchase of a new electric assisted bike (EBB), costing a minimum of CHF 1,100 to promote sustainable development and encourage soft mobility. The bicycle must be purchased from a Swiss retailer, and only one subsidy is granted per year and per household domiciled on the communal territory. To receive the subsidy, the buyer must present the original invoice and a copy of their ID card within three months of purchase at the town hall reception. The total amount is paid in cash, and the beneficiary agrees not to resell or give away the bicycle to which the subsidy is intended for two years from the date of purchase.
