Electric Bike Rebates and Tax Credits

The Devou Good Foundation is offering $500 e-bike rebates to residents of Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati zip codes. Rebates are limited to e-bikes purchased on or after February 15th, 2022 and are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once approved, a check will be mailed for the full amount. A follow-up survey will be sent in 90 days and those who complete it will be entered into a drawing for a $250 gift card to a local bike shop. All rebates are subject to a 1x audit and limit one rebate per mailing address.

The City of Columbus offers a rebate of up to $100 for the purchase of an ebike. The rebate is available to all Columbus residents and is valid for purchases made between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021.

The Columbus Ebike Incentive Pilot Program will offer discounts to qualifying Columbus residents for the purchase of an e-bike from a local bike shop. The program is expected to launch in early summer 2023. Eligible participants will receive a rebate or subsidy for the purchase of an e-bike. Technical support will be available to those who apply.
