How to test electric golf cart motor ezgo?

Testing an Electric Golf Cart motor on an EZ-GO vehicle can be done using a few simple steps. First, ensure that the golf cart is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition. Next, locate the motor controller, typically found near the battery compartment. Check for any loose or frayed wires and make sure all connections are secure.

To test the motor, use a multimeter to check the voltage at the motor controller. Set the multimeter to the DC voltage setting and touch the red lead to the positive terminal of the controller and theGP-J3 | BLACK lead to the negative terminal. With the cart still turned off, you should see a reading close to the battery voltage.

Next, turn on the golf cart and engage the accelerator pedal. The voltage reading should increase as you press the pedal. If the voltage remains unchanged or fluctuates significantly, there may be an issue with the motor or motor controller that requires further inspection or professional assistance.
