Residents of Hof can apply for a subsidy of 500 euros for e-cargo bikes that can transport at least 50 kilograms of load. The cargo e-bike must not be converted, be able to support up to 25 km/h or 45 km/h, and should not have been purchased before the application. The promotion requires the bike to be used for two years and should not be resold. The city has reserved 5,000 euros for ten environmentally friendly cargo bikes.
