Electric Bike Rebates and Tax Credits

The community of Ismaning has a policy to promote environmentally friendly mobility, which includes a subsidy for the purchase of new or used bicycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, and bike trailers. The subsidy is 25% of the purchase price, up to a maximum of €250 for bicycles and electric scooters, €1,000 for cargo bikes and electric cargo bikes, and €200 for bike trailers. The subsidy is available to Ismaning residents over the age of 15 who have lived in the community for at least three months, as well as non-profit organizations, businesses, and freelancers based in Ismaning. The subsidized vehicle must be used for daily transportation and comply with road traffic regulations. The subsidy is valid for seven years, and if the vehicle is sold before the end of the period, the subsidy must be repaid proportionally.
