Electric Bike Rebates and Tax Credits

Private individuals in Tübingen can apply for a subsidy for cargo bikes and bicycle trailers through the municipal grant program, with the fourth edition starting in February 2023. There are no government grant programs for private individuals for cargo bikes. Successful applicants will receive a grant according to the grant guidelines. Swt customers can combine the municipal grant program with Swt's electric mobility grant program to receive a bonus of €100. Companies and associations can receive grants of up to €2,500 from the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control and the Ministry of Transport of Baden-Württemberg for the purchase of new e-cargo bikes.
