Electric Bike Rebate and Tax Credit

Rebate Summary

The city of Říčany has approved a subsidy plan for their employees who purchase electric bikes or scooters with an electric motor. The employees can receive up to 75% of the subsidy for the purchase of an electric bike or scooter. The subsidy limit for one electric bike is up to CZK 20,000, and the city will contribute up to a maximum of CZK 10,000 for electric scooters. The employee must submit the invoice or expenditure report, signed contract for two years of operation and an honest declaration. The employee must also undertake to operate the bike for a minimum of two years, or return half the provided amount if resigning or losing the bike. The city hall will undertake to provide secure parking at the workplace.
