Nova Scotia Electric Bike Rebate and Tax Credit
Rebate Summary
The Electrify Rebate Program in Nova Scotia offers rebates for the purchase or lease of qualifying BEVs, PHEVs and e-bikes purchased or leased from dealerships and retailers located in Nova Scotia on or after February 24, 2021. E-bikes retailing for $1,200 or over are eligible for a $500 rebate. All rebates must be applied at the time of purchase from the dealership. Used e-bikes and new e-bikes ordered from third-party online retailers such as Amazon and Alibaba.com, directly from e-bike makers, or from individual private sellers are not eligible for a rebate.

"The e-bike must be purchased new from a retailer with a physical storefront in Nova Scotia (this includes both independent retailers as well as local outlets of chain stores). E-bikes ordered directly from e-bike makers are not eligible."
