With so many different eBike options out there and not enough time to research them all before making your purchase – what do you need? It's a good question!
We did some deep diving into one specific model, the RadMission Mid Step from Rad Power Bikes, and consulted expert reviews for their opinions on this bike. Let’s see what we found!
The RadMission Mid Step eBike is a great entry level eBike that is affordable and offers high performance. It’s a good choice for people under 6'2’’, is easy to ride and handle, and the brakes are responsive with great stopping power.
It has a top speed of 20 mph and a range of 45 miles, making it perfect for commuting or doing errands around town. The bike also features a step-through frame design, which makes it easy to get on and off of the bike.
Overall, the RadMission Mid Step is a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable and reliable ebike.
The controls are dead-simple: +/- buttons allow you to adjust the four levels of assist, you can turn on the front and rear mounted lights, and there’s a ‘walking assist’ mode for those times when you want help pushing the bike.
The RadMission models use a high-resolution, 14-pulse cadence sensor, which makes starting and stopping faster and predictable.
Rad Power Bikes nailed the difficulty of the one gear you have, though. The gearing is hard enough to push the bike faster on flat ground, yet easy enough to pedal up steep hills
