I never thought I’d spend so much time in a bike review talking about the seat; all bodies are different, and seats are a very personal choice. But beyond its lack of nose and my own discomfort while using it, what warrants its mention to this degree is the fact that you can’t swap it out.

We’d like to see some slightly wider handlebars on future iterations of this bike.

I like how the battery seems really secure, mounted on the flared metal seat tube section of the frame, and how their replacement packs are less expensive since the controller is separate.

In short, the Blix Ultra truly delivers on being a multipurpose bike. Its construction, integrated features, customization options, and specs make the bike as suitable for camping and off-road exploring as it is for a family tour around town.

This is a board that's meant to take you on adventures.

If you’re riding the D11 on a fully charged battery, I think it’s safe to say you’re going to get to your destination with charge to spare (unless you have a 50+ mile commute of course).

It is undoubtedly one beast of a scooter. You won’t find another electric scooter with such a combination of power, durability & power easily.

It is a different board and a much bigger board. All the hardware has been upgraded, but the LaCroix signatures remain, including comfy pneumatics and layers of Canadian maple and carbon fiber.

Unlike Himiway competitor Juiced and some other moped-style e-bikes, the Escape doesn’t come with a tall seat option. Himiway does claim that the bike can fit riders from 5’2″ to 6’4”, so it should accommodate a pretty good height range.

Rolling into the market as the best entry-level dual-motor scooter, it is without a doubt a fantastic choice for first-time riders looking for a model with a bite.

Atlas uses Exway’s brand-new 9.5-inch double kingpin crisp trucks. I've never been the biggest fan of the double kingpin trucks, as they can feel slightly unstable at high speeds. But Exway has done an excellent job using double barrels for bushings, which I found added some much-needed stability. I found the setup brilliant, enabling me to feel nice and secure at high speed and allowing a nice smooth curve, even with the added weight of having two extra motors on board.

The modular design of the bike means that riders can swap on all sorts of cargo accessories to take advantage of those weight capacities for hauling gear or kiddos in back. One passenger-specific accessory that will likely become a crowd favorite is a passenger package that includes rear foot pegs and a wheel guard to keep wandering feet out of the spokes.

The Apex is the highest-end of several hardtail electric fat bikes in QuietKat’s lineup. Spec’d with the Bafang Ultra mid-drive motor, an inverted moto-style front fork, powerful brakes, and a 9-speed SRAM drivetrain, the Apex is a member of a newer niche of electric bikes I’ve started calling the “all-terrain” category.

You can easily ride Vvolt Proxima to work, cruise around the town and it can even handle some dirt.

Even though it is a beast of a board, due to its customizability, it really is suitable for any kind of rider. It can be whatever you make it to be. The only thing it doesn’t offer is a flexible deck, which might bother some people, but trust me, this board doesn’t feel like your regular stiff carbon deck. The comfort will shock you.

The KBO Hurricane showed me that bigger isn’t always better and that the wattage-to-weight ratio is more important than wattage overall. Yes, the Hurricane struggled on the steep hills, but everywhere else, it held its composure and offered me a smooth, natural feeling experience.
