The Arcimoto FUV is revolutionary in that it again asks a question that, as a motorcycle rider, I’ve been asking since I started riding: _How much vehicle do you truly need?_

Rear heavy design with the battery positioned high and at the back, but the rack protects it well, and the bike did not suffer from speed wobble or too much frame flex. The display is fairly simple, doesn't include as many readouts, and doesn't have a USB charging port built-in. Evelo sells mostly direct, so some effort and assembly are required to get things going. Only one frame size option here; consider the Evelo Aurora for a larger, more powerful, fairly similar product.

Outstanding high-quality Components.

While its breathability is very good for a waterproof-breathable garment, direct venting features like torso/pit zips and mesh-backed front pockets would be appreciated in warmer and more humid climates.

The motor is enclosed inside the wheel using rim tires custom mag rims. This kind of design has many advantages but comes with one problem – if it needs maintenance then it is more difficult work to repair the motor.

It doesn’t stand out, doesn’t produce a lot of noise, the cables are mostly internally routed, and the ebike system weight is kept low and center for optimal handling.

Of all the hitch racks on test, the Thule EasyFold XT 2 was the most comfortable to carry with one hand and place on the tow hitch.

Whilst I can’t comment on the eBike Chain Wax increasing the longevity of drivetrain parts, it’s another potential benefit that eBike owners will definitely appreciate.
