The[ Acid Hybrid](https://archiv.cube.eu/en/2020/333100) boasts a lightweight aluminum frame and all-rounded performance. It aims to last you through the day with a Bosch PowerPack 400 or 500, coupled with an efficient Bosch Purion display. The 500KWh battery takes only three hours to fill up, and can output a driving range of up to 133.5 miles (215 km.)
The outstanding feature of this unit is its integrated Bosch Drive unit. This allows it to perform efficiently while limiting the power and speed to meet the rules and regulations of most countries.

The Cube Acid Hybrid is the perfect all-rounder, regardless of the 400 or 500 battery back model. The Bosch Drive Unit majorly improves the efficiency of the bike. Falling in two sizes, you can pick the Cube Acid Hybrid for yourself as well as your children, making it one of the best daily commute eBikes for urban areas.


The Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance comes in a varying array of options, with the name “400” or “500” denoting the 400 watt or 500 watt battery pack that comes with the e-bike. This is among their more popular models given the value price point, versatility, and trusted Bosch Performance Line Cruise motor. 
The Reaction Hybrid Performance model is a new model from 2021 onwards that has replaced the prior “Acid Hybrid.”

The Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance is among the best values if you’re looking for a high-quality, mid-drive, multi-purpose electric bike on the market without breaking the bank. 
While other electric bikes within the same price range may offer e-MTB functionality, the Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance boasts the Bosch Performance Line Cruise – one of the better motors for electric bikes. 
Despite being slightly less of a force than the Performance Line CX, this model is much more quiet and efficient. It maintains proper shift detection and is responsive to pedal input. 
As the chainring can also cycle backwards, you’ll have a much easier time with maintenance. Given its high-specs affordability, we couldn’t recommend the Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance more – just try to opt for the “500” model with the upgraded battery pack.  


A front-loading cargo or “box” e-bike, intended to hold cargo or up to two children. With a two-wheel design compared to the commonly-seen trike cargo bikes, this Cube model offers a greater level of maneuverability while maximizing the storage space of the box itself. 
The bike itself is offered in two builds from Cube, the ‘Sport’ and the Sport Cargo. The only difference between the two is that the non-Sport build carries an Enviolo variable transmission, while the Sport Cargo utilizes a Shimano Deore derailleur and 10-speed cassette. The Enviolo might be viewed as more durable, but this isn’t necessarily true. Both offer the option for either one battery pack or two, to help extend the life/range. 


Cube’s Sport Cargo Hybrid has an impressive motor, a huge cargo bay, and Suntour MOBIEA32 fork. How does the Cube’s foray into cargo eBikes compare to competition? 

Cube Cargo Sport Hybrid

The Cube Sport Cargo Hybrid is a cargo e-bike geared towards everyday use – groceries, taking children to and from school, or handling workloads and commutes with cargo. With a maximum output of 85Nm torque (continuous rated power of 250 watts) from their Gen 4 motor, the Cube offers enough power for the largest day-to-day commuting tasks.
This is all structured with a low payload to maintain a lower center of gravity and ~60kg of capacity inside the box. With a speedy battery charging time (under 4 hours), all-around great utility, power components, and thoughtful design, the Cube Cargo Hybrid is an excellent option for families.  


The Nuride functions as a re-tooled model, instead of a new design, utilizing the figure of the 2020 Touring Hybrid from CUBE.
Within this model, you’ll get the Bosch Performance Gen 3 motor for 65Nm of torque – not as powerful as other CUBE models. However, this motor does feature the e-MTB mode, which can adjust the level of assist automatically. 
The biggest selling feature of the bike is likely the 625Wh battery, which can offer a lengthy 100 miles if using the Eco-assist mode. The rest of the e-bike’s gear is shifted towards being able to traverse urban landscapes _and _off-road, with a Shimano 9-speed 11-36 cassette and Alivio M3100 derailleur. 


A recent addition to the CUBE product line of electric bikes, the Nuride Hybrid Performance 625 offers a fix for off-road riding.

The CUBE Nuride Performance Hybrid sadly doesn’t really seem to offer anything new that you cannot find for a more affordable price point with different CUBE models.
They utilize an older frame, and the only big jump is the newer performance line motor with the latest firmware update. 
That all being said, the price point is still decent for a CUBE bike of this quality and stature, and there aren’t any glaring defects that make this a ‘bad’ bike. Traditional riders and off-road riders will get plenty of use out of it – we just advise looking around for other options first.


Generally, the Cube Elly Cruise Hybrid is an electric bike model geared more towards relaxed city riding. The upright position with low stand-over makes the bike exceptionally easy to control, and the mid-motor provides enough power for daily tasks or commuting. The 500Wh battery also lends itself to the functionality of the Elly Cruise Hybrid – good for about a week’s worth of local commutes/travels. 


A stylish city-bike, the Elly Cruise Hybrid offers a relaxed and comfortable ride that is geared towards slower cruising rather than speeding.

Not a lot to complain about with this bike – despite the weaker battery pack, smaller Purion display, and Active Line Cruise motor, it is still fully functional and smooth as a laid-back city bike. 
Every feature of the bike looks beautiful and well put-together, and functions well. Ultimately, this Cube Elly Cruise Hybrid does what it advertises and with a certain degree of smoothness. 


The Cube Supreme Hybrid model offers great support and durability for urban commuting or neighborhood rides – you’ll get a fair amount of power out of the 65Nm of torque, with high-quality components like the Bosch Performance Line Cruise motor and SR Suntour Coil NEX-E25 Suspension. 
There are some drawbacks to the model, which we will discuss in our meta review and which you will see from our expert review feedback. Namely, the lower-tier battery and smaller Purion display can be minor annoyances that are otherwise overlooked. 


The Cube Supreme Hybrid ONE 400 is the Bosch powered e-bike with an all-new frame and design. Find out if the Sport Hybrid ONE is worth the price tag! 

Cube - The Supreme Sport Hybrid ONE 400

The Cube Supreme Sport Hybrid ONE 400 is an easy-to-maneuver and approachable stand-thru e-bike with all the bells & whistles. Comfortable design and reliable 9-speed cassette make this model optimal for commuting around cities, or for more relaxed neighborhood riding. 
At the cost of slightly reduced range and increased noise, you get a higher torque and more pedal cadence support that is noticeable. 
The Bosch Performance Line Cruise motor is generally quiet though, and offers more support compared to the Active Line. Given some other basic feature drawbacks, like the PowerTube 400 (lowest battery capacity from Bosch) and extremely basic suspension form – this model works best for a non-professional, more recreational rider or commuter. 


When it comes to value for the price point, Cube’s Touring Hybrid may seem a little costly – but based on the components, it is an excellent entry-point into the world of e-bikes for its cost. 
The bike itself is exceptionally stable and sturdy: it is built to withstand longer commutes and allows for easy pedaling even with the assist switched off. The fork, cassette, motor, brakes, and chainset are all well-established parts from Shimano or SR Suntour. 


Step-Thru electric bikes like Cube’s Touring Hybrid may be geared towards touring riders or professionals, but their ease of use makes them practical enough for anyone!

The Cube Touring Hybrid is a complete touring electric bicycle with three different frame styles to help optimize performance and ease of use – these include high-step, mid-step, and step-thru. This Cube is extremely well balanced as a bicycle with a low, balanced center weight. 
The overall components of this e-bike consist of powerful hydraulic disc brakes, good kickstand, ergonomic grips, adjustable air suspension fork, large and intuitive display, and Bosch Active Line Plus motor. This bike is an all around good choice for those looking for a touring bike, or one for regular city/commute use.


The new[ Fold Hybrid](https://www.cube.eu/en/2022/e-bikes/urban-mobility/commuting/fold-hybrid/cube-fold-hybrid-500-darkbluenblack/) bike by Cube is made to last. With a frame of aluminum, the bike can be folded, and boasts a Bosch PowerPack 500Wh battery. It incorporates a simple saddle with standards for flexibility: anyone can ride this bike by adjusting it. 
There are essentially two bike models, the Fold Hybrid 500 and the Fold Sport Hybrid 500. The main difference is that the sports model has a 10-gear shift system instead of a 5-gear. This ample gear range makes it perfect for long travels on steep terrains.

Smooth to pedal and easy to use, we definitely recommend the CUBE Compact Sport Hybrid for urban dwellers or those commuting.
